Strait Motives is an event based out of Gibraltar, set apart not only by its curation, but by its focus on the relationship between the music and the visual. The brand's visual identity is based around a key element: the line – itself a representation of The Strait. Translated graphically, this element remains constant yet ever-changing, interpreted differently throughout the event's editions.
Their second edition celebrated Gibraltar's National Day, an important day in the Gibraltarian calendar where the nation's people take to the streets and celebrate, iconically dressed in red and white. For this edition, the identity was centred around a treatment which translated images to lines and graphic forms, used together with a fitting colour palette.
