Barcelona Design Week 2019
Motion
The 14th edition of the Barcelona Design Week was held from the 12th – 20th June.
Over the course of a week, the Barcelona Design Week offered an extensive programme encompassing more than 120 activities open to the city, with the most prominent among them being exhibitions, workshops, talks and open doors, as well as activities aimed more at the professional public to create business opportunities and facilitate the exchange of knowledge.
For the event’s video, developing on and keeping with the identity designed by Esiete, under the theme Transitions, typographic transitions were explored and animated, communicating this concept dynamically, with one for each language of the identity.
The animation was on display at the Barcelona Design Museum as from the event's inauguration on the 12th of June, and the individual animations were also used for the Barcelona Design Week's website.
